Job Description :
- Identify and develop relationships with potential customers and partners, negotiate, and sign business contracts.
- Conduct market surveys and internal surveys (barcode scanning, product names, images, pricing, etc.) and propose the quantity of samples for import.
- Continuously interact, monitor, and receive reports on the working status between sales staff and their customer base. Provide timely support to ensure business efficiency and sales targets set by the Board of Directors are met.
- Guide, develop, and advise the Board of Directors on business plans and proposals that align with the company’s development policies and business culture.
- Build and develop the sales team, assign and manage tasks for subordinates, implement approved plans from the Board of Directors, and oversee the execution process.
- Monitor the progress of goods being imported and exported to Vietnam or Cambodia. Coordinate with GDL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD partners at the warehouse to verify expiration dates and record the quantity of goods to be retrieved for relevant state inspections.
- Search for and contact suppliers according to customer requirements, expedite order placement, and complete orders for import and export.
- Ensure that quoting services for customers and agents adhere to the company’s pricing regulations.
- Ensure that receiving and processing detailed information about shipments from customers/agents is done accurately and comprehensively.
- Ensure smooth interaction and coordination regarding the transportation and customs clearance of goods with the company’s customs brokers, minimizing potential risks.
- Ensure interaction with relevant departments in the Vietnam office to prepare shipping documents (file preparation), forward files to the accounting department to issue debit notes and invoices to customers/agents in accordance with company regulations.
- Regularly communicate and build strong relationships with shipping lines/airlines/co-loaders/customs brokers/customers to create a database that supports effective job execution.
- Be ready to provide consultancy on import taxes, import procedures, and import/export documentation in Cambodia to relevant departments.
- Ensure that all import-export operations comply with customs regulations, import-export procedures, and tariff schedules in Cambodia.
- Submit regular reports as required by the company’s policies and departmental requirements.
- Perform other related tasks as requested by direct management and the Board of Directors.

Job Description :
1. Receipts:
- Regularly check emails to manage tasks related to freight documentation.
- Prepare freight documents for air and sea exports and imports.
- Issue shipping orders and bills of lading to customers after receiving payment confirmation from Accounts Receivable.
- Obtain debit notes from shipping lines to compile shipping documents (initial files), and forward these files to the Accounting Department for processing payments.
- Monitor the transportation process of shipments until the goods are delivered or received at the port.
- Update the monthly file count on the 29th of each month.
2. Agent Development:
- Maintain and build strong relationships with all of the company’s designated customers and further develop additional shipments for these customers.
- Be responsible for effectively maintaining and expanding the company’s agent network, both within and outside the association.
- Handle rate and service inquiries from agents, designated customers, and sales staff. Collaborate with other departments to provide the best and most efficient service to agents, designated customers, and sales staff.
- Update agents on changes in surcharges, freight rates, and customs procedures. Keep local charges from shipping lines updated.
- Update new agent information and the company’s agent network system.
- Be responsible for addressing inquiries from agents and customers regarding export/import freight rates or customs procedures within the authorized scope.
3. Customer Service:
- Check rates with shipping lines and airlines, request updated sailing and flight schedules, and input them into the tracking sheet.
- Quote rates, and provide sailing and flight schedules to customers, sales staff, and agents.
- Secure bookings from shipping lines and airlines, and send booking details to customers, sales staff, and agents.
- Update the booking sheet, prepare files, assign bill numbers, and forward files to the Documentation Department, adjusting rates according to debit notes.
- Resolve arising issues such as empty container retrieval, damaged containers, container shortages, extending closing times, free time, mother vessel issues, vessel delays, rolled vessels, late container drop-offs, and containers lacking proper temperature control.
- Assist customer service staff at branch offices with rate inquiries, quoting, customer care, and building strong relationships with shipping lines and airlines.
4. General Tasks:
- Submit regular reports as required by company policies and departmental regulations.
- Perform other related tasks as requested by direct management and the Board of Directors.
